You need a pub!                                                                                                                                  Date Posted:08/03/2004

I am planning on walking the Southern Upland Way in the summer, which as you know ends at Cockburnspath.
To be frank, with no pub in the village, I will not want to stay there for that last night, so will be getting the bus or
train to somewhere that does have one! Good luck with the pub project (I don't suppose it will be open in June ????)

Why not try Pease Bay Holiday Park?                                                                                              Date Posted:14/03/2004

It is at Pease Bay (unsurprisingly!), which you will pass en-route and you can have a drink in the bar there. I am afraid
there is no pub but we hope to have one before long, as fund-raising is going well. Unfortunately it is unlikely to be this
year! You could stay in Co'path and visit pubs in Grantshouse (6 miles south) or Dunbar (7 miles north) as an alternative
option and depending upon when you will arrive there could be a ceilidh or party on at the new village hall.
