Pease Bay Holiday Park                                                                                                                     Date Posted:29/08/2004

I'm thinking of buying a static carvan here. Please could you let me know if it's easy to get to as I would be travelling
from Edinburgh on either bus or train as I don't drive.

Travel to Cockburnspath                                                                                                                    Date Posted:06/09/2004

Hi there, There are a number of buses (253 service of Perymans) that travel every two hours during the day between the new
bus station at St Andrew Square to Berwick-upon-Tweed. These services stop at Cockburnspath, but you can also ask to
bedropped off at the underpass near the Cockburnspath roundabout and can then walk to Pease Bay, but it is a fair hike
(probably about a mile and a half) from there to Pease Bay. Perhaps the holiday park could pick you up from there or
Cockburnspath, as they have mini buses / vans that travel between their site at Innerwick and Pease Bay, carrying supplies.
It is doable by foot, but it is a fair walk (especially on the return leg, as there is a steep ascent out of Pease Bay on the way back.
Lovely place though! Alternatively, you could get off the bus (or any train to Dunbar) early and get a cab from Dunbar. This could
cost anything from between GBP 14.00 and GBP 20.00 these days. Good luck and enjoy your trip. Paul.
