My Grandmother was Nell Swanston of Eyemouth. I have traced her fathers, male line back to Alexander 
Swanston b.1755 Cockburnspath. All were fishermen. HIs father, I think was a John Swanston, also of C'Path. 
Does anyone have any info on when the Swanstons arrived in C'Path or any other information about them.
