Greetings from New Zealand.

I am enquiring if any one is aware of there being a physical inventory/photos or record of inscriptions of the headstones in the church cemetery?
My primary request is to find any gravestone for Elizabeth Affleck (nee Fairbairn) born 21 Feb 1798 and died between 1841 & 1851. Elizabeth is the wife of George Affleck (my 3rd great grandfather). Elizabeth appears in the 1841 Census but has died before 1851. George Affleck worked on the Dunglass Estate then emigrated to New Zealand from Bilsden/Cockburnspath  in 1860, following his son Andrew Affleck 1858.
These Afflecks were connected to the family of  Fairbairn, Duncan, Henderson, Tunnah, Vallance, Martin.
I would welcome any correspondence.

Hello

I picked up your query from the Co’path website.  Borders Family History Society have started to record the Monumental Inscriptions at Co’path and so far, the newer part of the old churchyard and part of the older part have been done.
I’ve checked the inscriptions I have and don’t have any Afflecks.  I thought that Elizabeth may have been included on her family memorial but don’t have her listed.  I am planning to resume the recording as soon as we have some better weather and will let you know if I find anything relevant
