Neighbourhood Watch:

Working together with the Police to keep crime down in your neighbourhood!

What is Neighbourhood Watch about?

Everybody is asked to check for anything odd / unusual behaviour and report it to any of the office bearers/co-ordinators.  If we need help from the police, we would phone Eyemouth (018907 50217) or at night we would phone Hawick (01450 375051), who would respond if told the information is from a member of Neighbourhood Watch. The local police have an excellent record of responding to incidents and in one case, at 3AM in the morning, were in Cockburnspath in 12 minutes from first being contacted.

By helping to make life difficult for criminals, we can keep crime low and help keep those insurance premiums low!
