The Village Hall was built in 2003, at a cost of over £300,000, largely funded by the New Opportunities Fund of the National Lottery. It was built on the site of the old Hall, which dated from 1884, but was inadequate for present day purposes. 

The Hall is run by a committee on behalf of the local population, and is available for hire for all types of function, or sporting event. Full details of the facilities, and a booking form, are available on the Hall website, www.village-hall.co.uk
